A concept redesign for a Shreveport bakery and café with online ordering, custom cake requests and live store hours. A scroll-driven gift-box hero opens the page.

What I built
Scroll-driven hero
- Gift-box unwrap hero: GSAP ScrollTrigger lifts the box lid and bow and scatters the ingredients as the visitor scrolls
- Drew the hero artwork (box lid, bow, flour, sugar, cherry) as SVG and rendered it to transparent PNGs with a build script using sharp
Online ordering
- Cart that persists in localStorage, with a 3-step ordering drawer: review tray, pickup details, confirmation
- Delivery orders hand off to the bakery's delivery partner
Custom cake requests
- 4-step custom cake wizard (flavor, size, details, contact) with validation and an earliest pickup date based on the kitchen's lead time
Live store info
- Calculates the “Open now / Closed” status in the bakery's time zone and refreshes it every minute, so it's right wherever the visitor is
- Seasonal King Cake section that switches between “In season now” and a countdown to the next season
- “Today’s Fresh Batch” specials that rotate by weekday and pause on hover or keyboard focus
